Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026
Short version
- 14-day full refund, no questions asked, for any MiniPx Pro purchase you have not yet put to work.
- Once you download output from a Pro feature, that purchase is consumed and the no-questions window closes. Faulty features and EU/UK statutory rights are unaffected.
- 60-day refund consideration for technical issues that prevent you from using Pro as advertised.
- Refunds are processed by Paddle and arrive in your account in 5 to 10 business days.
- Refund and chargeback requests both go to contact@minipx.com with your Paddle order ID. Come to us before you go to your bank.
The free tier always works without paying
Compression, conversion and resizing are free and unlimited, with no time limit and no signup, whether or not you ever pay. The AI tools include 2 free runs shared between them before a cooldown starts. If you tried Pro and decided you prefer the free experience, you keep full access to all of that after a refund.
14-day no-questions refund
Any MiniPx Pro purchase (Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime) can be fully refunded within 14 days of the original purchase date. You do not need to provide a reason. Email contact@minipx.com with the order ID from your Paddle receipt. That address is where every refund request is made — see "How to request a refund" below.
For subscriptions, the refund window starts from the initial purchase. Subsequent monthly or annual renewals are not refundable under this no-questions window, but you can cancel renewal at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Using Pro after you buy
The 14-day no-questions window exists so you can decide whether Pro suits you. It is not a way to finish a job with Pro and then take the money back. Once you have made substantial use of a Pro feature, that purchase is treated as delivered and consumed, and the no-questions window no longer applies to it.
Substantial use means any one of the following, on any device where your license is active:
- Downloading the output of a batch larger than the free tier allows (more than 5 images in a single job).
- Downloading output from a Pro-only feature: watermarking, multi-format export (AVIF, WebP, JPG and PNG together), the 6 batch rename templates, or advanced codec controls.
- Downloading a background removal above the free 1080px cap, or a Pro-tier upscale or passport-photo output.
- Saving a reusable preset and applying it to a later job.
Opening a Pro feature, previewing it, or activating your license is not substantial use on its own. Downloading the finished result is. If you are unsure whether what you did counts, email us and describe it. We read this rule the way a reasonable person would, not the way that saves us the most money. We decide on what you tell us and on the Paddle purchase record, not on surveillance: your files never leave your browser, and we hold no per-customer record of which files you processed or what you did with them.
This rule never overrides three things:
- Faulty or misdescribed Pro features. If a feature did not work as advertised, using it is how you found out. Those requests go through the 60-day technical route below, and how much you used the feature makes no difference to them.
- Consumer withdrawal rights in the EU and UK, to the extent you have not validly given them up at checkout. See the EU and UK section below for exactly how that works.
- Rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 if you are buying from India, where a deficiency in the service is refundable regardless of how much you used it.
Refunds for technical issues, within 60 days
If a Pro feature does not work for you as advertised (and we have not been able to resolve the issue within a reasonable time), you can request a refund within 60 days of purchase. Examples:
- Batch processing crashes consistently on your supported browser, and our suggested workarounds do not help.
- Watermarking, multi-format export, or another Pro feature produces broken output that we cannot reproduce or fix.
- Your license fails to activate due to a defect in our integration with Paddle (after we have tried to fix it).
Email contact@minipx.com with the order ID and a short description of what failed. We respond within 3 business days.
What is not eligible for refund
- No-questions requests where you have already downloaded output from a Pro feature, as described above. Faulty-feature and statutory claims are not covered by this exclusion.
- Renewals beyond the first billing cycle on Monthly or Annual plans (cancel before the renewal date instead).
- Refund requests made more than 60 days after purchase.
- Charges in cases of license-sharing or other terms-of-service violations.
- Disputes filed via chargeback without first emailing contact@minipx.com. We have always resolved legitimate refund requests directly; chargebacks lock the account and prevent us from helping.
How to request a refund
One route: email contact@minipx.com with your Paddle order ID (starts with "ord_" or "txn_"). Include the reason if you can. Refunds are not self-serve and are never auto-approved — a person here reads every request and decides it against the policy on this page. We forward eligible requests to Paddle within 3 business days.
Once approved, Paddle processes the refund to your original payment method. Most card refunds land in 5 to 10 business days. PayPal and digital wallet refunds are usually faster.
Chargebacks: talk to us first
If you want to dispute a charge, email contact@minipx.com before you raise it with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback is decided by the card network rather than by us, it locks the account while it runs, and it takes away the one route we have to sort the problem out for you. Bring it to us and we will look at it properly.
This is a request about which door to knock on, not a waiver. Nothing here removes your right to dispute a charge with your bank, and nothing here removes the statutory rights described below.
EU and UK statutory rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under EU consumer law (Distance Selling regulations). This right applies in addition to our standard 14-day no-questions refund. Because MiniPx Pro is digital content delivered immediately on purchase, your cooling-off rights are waived only if you explicitly confirm immediate access at checkout and acknowledge that you lose the right by doing so; otherwise the full 14-day right applies.
Before checkout opens we ask you to tick a box confirming you want Pro access straight away and that you understand you lose the 14-day cancellation right once you download output from a Pro feature. The box is never pre-ticked and is separate from accepting our terms. If you do not tick it, the purchase does not proceed. We record exactly what you agreed to against your transaction, and offer you a copy to download the moment your purchase completes. Keep it. If you did not download it at the time, email contact@minipx.com with your order ID and we will send it to you.
If you bought before this confirmation step existed, or you were never shown it, the full 14-day withdrawal right applies to you even after substantial use of a Pro feature. Separately, and in every case, nothing in this policy limits your right to a remedy for digital content that is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Those rights cannot be signed away, and we do not try to.
Disputes and contact
If a refund request is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate directly with Paddle as the merchant of record (their contact details are in your receipt email). For everything else, email contact@minipx.com and we will work it out.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes. Material changes are surfaced as a site-wide notice for two weeks. Refund eligibility is always governed by the policy in effect on your purchase date.
