Pricing questions
Will the free tier ever change?
Compression, conversion and resizing stay free and unlimited, with no signup and no daily cap. That is the core of MiniPx and it is not changing. The AI tools are the one exception: 2 runs shared across all three tools, then a 60 minute wait. Each further time you spend the allowance the wait grows by 30 minutes, up to 24 hours. It resets to 60 minutes after a week without an AI run. After that you either go Pro for unlimited runs, or wait it out.
What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?
Pro features turn off at the end of your current billing period. The free tier keeps working: compression, conversion and resizing stay unlimited, batches go back to 5 files at a time, and the AI tools go back to the free allowance of 2 runs. Any images you compressed during your Pro period stay on your device (we never had them anyway).
Can I pay in INR instead of USD?
Paddle converts the USD price and shows the INR equivalent at checkout for Indian customers, and all major Indian cards work. Prices are set in USD, so there is no separate India price: the INR figure you see is the current conversion of the USD amount, not a discount. UPI is not supported at checkout today.
Is the Lifetime plan really lifetime?
Yes. One-time payment, no renewals, and every Pro feature in the MiniPx browser app is included for life, including features we add later. To be straight about the one boundary: if we ever ship something that costs us money per use, such as a server-side AI service, that would be priced separately rather than folded into a one-time payment. Everything that runs on your own device is covered. We back this with our continued ownership of minipx.com, and if we ever discontinue the product, lifetime keys stay valid for as long as the product runs.
Do you offer a free trial of Pro?
Yes, a small one, and it is worth being exact about it. Every browser gets one full compression with the Pro compressor features switched on: watermarking, responsive sets, multi-format export, the 12 platform presets, saved presets, advanced codec controls and batch rename. Turn on whatever you like, compress once, keep the output. It is only spent when you actually engage one of those controls, so an ordinary compression does not burn it. Two things it does not cover: the 5-file batch cap stays in place, and the three AI tools stay on their own free allowance of 2 runs. One try per browser, remembered in local storage, and it does not renew. After that, monthly billing is the lowest-commitment way to keep going.
Refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, as long as you have not yet downloaded output from a Pro-only feature. Once you have, that purchase counts as delivered. Faulty or misdescribed features are refundable for 60 days regardless of use, and your statutory rights in the EU, UK and India are unaffected either way.
