Who builds MiniPx

MiniPx is built and run by Gaurav Bhowmick, an independent developer. There is no team behind the name and no agency: the tools, the comparison pages, the blog and the support inbox are all his. The reason that matters is accountability — every claim on this site has one person who can be asked about it, and the contact page says how.

How the tools handle your files

Compression, conversion, resizing and every free tool run entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded. The one exception is Cloud HD: a Pro-only option you switch on yourself, on 7 AI tools. A Cloud HD photo is uploaded to our server for that run and deleted when the run finishes, and in all cases within 24 hours.

That sentence is the whole privacy model, and it is the same sentence the footer, the consent notice and the privacy & security page use, generated from one source so the pages cannot disagree. Of the 7 AI tools that offer Cloud HD, 4 run only in the cloud (photo restoration, colourisation, enhancement and object removal) and 3 run on your device by default with Cloud HD as an optional switch (background removal, upscaling and passport photos). A Cloud HD photo is deleted when the run finishes, and in all cases within 24 hours.

How MiniPx makes money

Pro subscriptions, monthly or annual, and nothing else. There is no advertising on the site and no sale of data. The free tools are not a trial: compression, conversion, resizing, the PDF tools and the favicon generator stay free and unlimited, and the free AI runs are a fixed pool rather than a countdown. The pricing page lists what Pro adds. Analytics, where you allow them, count anonymous page views and tool runs; the privacy policy names the provider and what is recorded.

How the comparison pages and the blog are written

Every MiniPx vs page names the competitor, links to it, and carries the date the comparison was last checked. The point of comparison is where your files go, what the free tier stops at, and which formats each tool reads — things a reader can verify in two minutes on the other site. Where the competitor wins, the page says so. The blog posts are written from the tools' own behaviour rather than from other articles, and each one shows its publication date. If something on a page is wrong or out of date, say so; corrections are made on the page, not in a comments thread.

Where MiniPx runs

The site is a static export served from a CDN; there is no application server behind the free tools, which is why they keep working offline once a page has loaded. Accounts, billing and Cloud HD use a small set of serverless functions and, for Cloud HD, GPU servers that hold a photo only for the length of a run. The same tools are available as a Chrome extension that processes files locally in the same way.
