Image Watermark Tool — Free, Fast & Private

Adding a watermark to every photo before posting protects your work — most stolen images get reuploaded with the watermark still visible. MiniPx Pro's watermark feature applies a text overlay to every output in a batch with one toggle: pick the text, anchor position (9 spots: corners, edges, center), opacity, and size, then compress as normal. The watermark bakes into every output.

Use cases: photographers protecting client previews, designers marking work-in-progress mockups, e-commerce sellers protecting product photos from reposts, anyone posting to social media who wants attribution to follow the image.

The watermark is rendered onto the output canvas before encoding, so it cannot be removed without re-uploading and re-processing the watermarked file (and even then it leaves visible artifacts). For maximum stealth, the small "minipx.com" watermark on free-tier AI tool outputs is the same mechanism — it's baked into the pixels, not embedded as metadata.

Activate via the main compressor's Pro Tools panel. See pricing for the Pro plan.

How it works

  1. Get Pro: Buy via /pricing/.
  2. Open the main compressor: Visit minipx.com/.
  3. Expand the Watermark panel: In Pro Tools, toggle Watermark ON, type your text, pick an anchor (3x3 grid), tune opacity and scale.
  4. Compress: Every output in the batch gets the watermark baked in. Works with responsive sets and multi-format too.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use an image as the watermark instead of text?
Not yet — image watermarks ship in a later release. For now, text-only with full font/opacity control.
Does the watermark survive screenshot + re-upload?
Yes. The watermark is rendered into the pixels, not stored as metadata. Cropping can remove edge watermarks but center-anchored ones survive most repost attempts.
Can I save my watermark settings?
Yes — use the Saved Presets panel to bundle watermark text + position + everything else into a named one-click profile.
Will Free users see a watermark on their outputs?
No — the Watermark panel is Pro-gated. Free outputs from the main compressor have no watermark. Only free outputs from AI tools (BG Remover, Passport Maker) get the small "minipx.com" hint.
