Multi-Format Image Export — Free, Fast & Private

Modern responsive image markup serves the best format the browser supports — AVIF if available, WebP for older browsers, JPG as universal fallback. Generating all three formats per image used to mean running three separate compressors. MiniPx Pro generates them in one pass, in your browser.

Use case: drop a 4 MB product photo. Toggle the Extra formats panel: AVIF + WebP + JPG. Compress. Get 3 outputs (or 12 if you also enable responsive sizes). Each variant is optimally encoded for its format — AVIF gets the smallest size, WebP balances size and compatibility, JPG handles every browser ever shipped.

The output ZIP names files per the Pro rename pattern (e.g. photo-1280w.webp, photo-1280w.avif) so dropping into <source> tags is straight copy-paste.

See it in action on the main compressor. The free tier outputs one format per input; Pro adds the multi-format toggle.

How it works

  1. Get Pro: From /pricing/ ($4.99/mo or $79 lifetime).
  2. Open the main compressor: Visit minipx.com/.
  3. Enable Extra formats panel: In Pro Tools, tick the formats you want — AVIF, WebP, JPG (and PNG if needed).
  4. Compress: Each input produces one output per format. Download as ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

Why generate AVIF + WebP + JPG instead of just AVIF?
Browser support. AVIF works on Chrome 85+, Firefox 113+, Safari 16+. WebP covers older browsers (95%+ today). JPG is universal. For production sites you need all three to use the <picture> element with format-based source selection.
Are the formats encoded with the same quality?
Same input quality setting, but the actual file size differs because each codec has different compression efficiency. AVIF is smallest, JPG is largest, WebP is in between.
Can I pick per-format quality?
Yes — the Advanced Codec panel lets you set AVIF effort, WebP method, and per-format quality overrides individually.
Does this work for HEIC inputs?
Yes — HEIC is decoded then re-encoded into your chosen format(s). Common iPhone workflow: HEIC in, JPG + WebP out.
