Remove Background From Photo — Free, Fast & Private
Whether it's a portrait, a product photo, a pet, or a Polaroid scan — MiniPx removes the background from any photo in your browser. The AI uses RMBG-1.4, a 44 MB open segmentation model that handles hair, fur, and translucent edges substantially better than colour-key approaches. For people and selfies there is also an Instant tier that loads a 250 KB MediaPipe model.
Privacy matters for photos. ID cards, family pictures, prototype products — none of it should be uploaded to a third-party service. MiniPx runs the model entirely in your browser via WebGPU by default, so the photo never leaves your device unless you are on Pro and switch on Cloud HD for a heavier run. Open the Network tab in DevTools and watch — on the free path, zero image data goes out.
