Convert SVG to JPG — Free, Fast & Private
Need to convert an SVG to JPG? MiniPx renders your vector graphics as high-quality JPEG images directly in your browser. JPG produces smaller files than PNG because it uses lossy compression — ideal when you do not need transparency and want the lightest possible image for email, documents, or web uploads.
Unlike online converters such as CloudConvert or Convertio that upload your files to remote servers, MiniPx processes everything client-side. Your SVG files — which often contain proprietary logos, brand assets, and font data — never leave your device. This is especially important for design teams working with confidential brand materials.
When converting SVG to JPG, transparent areas in the SVG become white in the JPEG output because JPG does not support transparency. If you need to keep transparent backgrounds, use our SVG to PNG converter instead. For most use cases — email attachments, Word documents, PowerPoint slides, printed materials — a white background is expected and JPG is the better choice.
Since SVG is resolution-independent, you can set any output width. MiniPx renders the SVG at your chosen resolution using the Canvas API, producing a sharp JPEG at exactly the dimensions you need. Set 1200px for email headers, 800px for blog posts, or 2400px for print materials.
Batch conversion is supported. Drop multiple SVG files, convert them all at once, and download as a ZIP. Each converted file shows the output size so you can verify the compression level.
SVG to JPG vs SVG to PNG
Choose JPG when transparency does not matter and you want the smallest file. Choose PNG when you need transparent backgrounds or pixel-perfect sharpness for text and line art. For web graphics where both work, JPG is typically 40-60% smaller than PNG at similar visual quality. For logos on coloured backgrounds, JPG is fine. For logos that need to sit on varying backgrounds, PNG is necessary.
