The tool supports JPG, PNG, and WebP images. iPhone photos still in HEIC format work too — the HEIC to PDF page covers that workflow in detail. Landscape and portrait images are handled automatically — each page adapts to the image orientation. To be exact about the limits rather than vague: each image can be up to 200 MB, and there is no daily quota or monthly credit.
You also choose the page size. Fit to image is the default and gives each page the shape and size of its own image, which is what you want for photos. A4 and US Letter give every page exactly that page box instead, turned to landscape when the image is, with the image scaled to fit inside it and centred — nothing is cropped, and an image of a different shape leaves a white margin. Choose one of those when the thing on the other end reads the page size: a portal that validates A4, a print shop that prices by sheet, or a document that has to print at actual size rather than "fit to page".
Coming the other way, the PDF to Image tool now offers Build a PDF from these pages on its results. Use that instead of downloading the pages and adding them back here, and the rebuilt PDF keeps the original page size to the point — an A4 page comes back A4. It only works without leaving the tool, and for a plain reason: a PNG or JPG on disk carries no page box, so once the pages have been downloaded there is nothing left in them that says what size sheet they came off.

Can I convert a single JPG to PDF?
Yes. Upload one image and click Create PDF. The output will be a single-page PDF with your image at full resolution. This is useful when a form or portal requires PDF format instead of image files.
Does converting to PDF reduce image quality?
Usually not at all. A JPG or PNG that is already upright is embedded byte for byte, so the image inside the PDF is the exact file you uploaded — not a re-encode. Three cases are re-encoded, at 92% JPEG quality, which is visually lossless: a photo that carries a rotation flag, a format PDFs cannot store directly such as HEIC or AVIF, and any file processed with a target file size. Text stays sharp and photos stay clear either way.
Can I use this as a document scanner?

Can I make the PDF A4 or US Letter?
Yes. The Page size control offers Fit to image, A4 and US Letter. Fit to image is the default and gives each page the shape of its own image, which is right for photos. A4 and US Letter give every page exactly that page box — 595 x 842 points for A4, 612 x 792 for US Letter — turned to landscape when the image is landscape. The image is scaled to fit inside the page and centred, so nothing is ever cropped; an image of a different shape simply leaves a white margin. Pick A4 or US Letter when a portal, a print shop or a filing rule checks the page size rather than the picture.
Why does my scan come out as a huge page?
Because a JPG or PNG on disk does not record what size page it came off. Fit to image can only use the pixels, and a page scanned or rendered at high resolution has a lot of them, so the page box comes out much larger than the sheet you started with. Two fixes: choose A4 or US Letter under Page size, or, if you are converting a PDF to images here first, press "Build a PDF from these pages" on the results instead of downloading and re-adding them. That route keeps the original page size exactly, because the size is still in memory and never had to survive a round trip through an image file.
Can I rearrange the page order?
Pages appear in the order you upload the images. To change the order, remove and re-add images in the desired sequence. Each image becomes one page in the final PDF.
