Image Compressor No Upload — Free, Fast & Private
Most online image compressors upload your photos to their servers for processing. MiniPx is different — the compressor runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your images never leave your device when you compress them, period.
This matters for personal photos, ID documents, medical images, legal files, and anything you would not want on someone else's server. When you compress a passport photo or signature with MiniPx, the data stays on your computer from start to finish.
How does it work without a server? Modern browsers have powerful image processing APIs built in. MiniPx uses the Canvas API and native encoding to compress and convert images entirely client-side. The result is the same quality you would get from a server-based tool — without the privacy trade-off.
No account is required. No analytics record which images you process — filenames and image contents are never sent anywhere. We do collect anonymous page-view analytics via Google Analytics (which tools are popular, which need work) — same as most websites — but your image data stays entirely on your device.
This approach also means MiniPx works offline once the page has loaded. Disconnect from the internet and it still works. Because there is no upload, there is also no server-imposed quota: no daily limit, no monthly credits, no account. What sets the ceiling instead is your own device — files are accepted up to 200 MB each, and the free tier processes 5 files per batch, which Pro removes. That is the same fact that keeps your images private: there is nothing to upload them to, so your machine does the work. One part of MiniPx does work the other way, and it is not this one: Cloud HD, a Pro-only switch on the AI photo tools, runs on our server against a monthly allowance and deletes your photo when the run finishes. The compressor on this page has no such path and never will.
