Both SBI texts add a blank for your date of birth and a closing sentence about the signature, photograph and thumb impression; the IBPS text has neither. The two SBI texts also differ from each other in punctuation and in “left-hand thumb” against “left thumb”. Copy the text of your own form exactly; a declaration for another recruitment is the wrong document however well it is sized. The SBI page walks through those differences.
Fitting 46 words into 10 cm × 5 cm
The image is a landscape 10 cm × 5 cm block. The SBI texts are the longer ones, so plan the lines before you start: rule faint pencil guides, write it out yourself (the IBPS rule reads “Handwritten in English, black ink, not in capital letters”), and leave a small margin. Then photograph or scan the page flat and crop to the written block so the image keeps the wide shape of 800 × 400 pixels.
A declaration is mostly white paper, which compresses well, so the risk is the floor: a tight crop of a clean page can come out under 50 KB. The tool checks both ends of the band and tells you which side a file misses.
Why a declaration gets an application rejected
The notices are blunt about it: a declaration written by someone else, written in another language, or written in capital letters is not accepted, and an unclear one gets the application rejected. Every one of those sentences is quoted on the exam rejection reasons page. The left thumb impression is the other document unique to bank forms.
